Ajinomoto Omnichem’s SHE Management System is compliant with the latest ISO standards, and provides the guidelines for operating safely and acting in respect with our natural environment. All of our sites manufacturing commercial products are ISO 14001 & 45001 certified. Some of the sites have additional quality (ISO 9001, HACCP, FSSC 22000) and energy management certificates (ISO 50001). The continuous-improvement tools driving environmental performance and improved safety are designed to enable sustainable use of natural resources, reducing our carbon footprint and minimizing volumes hazardous waste.

As part of the group, Ajinomoto Omnichem reports environmental, social, governance and performance indicators under various framework. As part of our overall sustainability commitment, we foster transparency and reporting in line with our Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, and upcoming Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which represent the industry best practice for tracking performance on a select range of economic, environmental, and social indicators. We also maintain widely used customer-supplier, web-hosted platform to exchange sustainability profiles and relevant emissions data (Ecovadis).

At Ajinomoto Group level, the Ajinomoto Group’s Net Zero Targets are recently approved by the SBT Initiative.
